Zum Auftakt im neuen Jahr gibt’s gleich wieder ein Booking der Extraklasse für euch. Nach langen Verhandlungen können wir euch nun endlich einen unserer aboluten Lieblingsacts, DEAN RODELL, zusammen mit seinem Partner MC COPPA präsentieren.
Dean ist bereits seit einigen Jahren einer der führenden Produzenten im Bereich Techno & Hard DnB, sein neustes Projekt “MACHINE CODE” zusammen mit Current Value sorgt momentan für grössten Aufruhr in der gesamten Welt der elektronischen Musik. Für dieses Jahr steht nun mit “STEPPERS UNDERHILL” bereits das nächste Projekt an und gemeinsam mit seinem MC COPPA werden wir heute Abend eine erste Kostprobe des in Kürze erscheinenden Albums zu hören bekommen.
Unterstützung gibts an diesem Abend vom DUBWARS Rookie SIZE’MO sowie den beiden Machern RIDICK & ZOMBEATZ. Gefeiert wird dieses Mal auf einem Floor, los geht’s um 21.30 Uhr.

DEAN RODELL
True veteran Dean Rodell has been involved in underground music since the early 90s and has been the man behind dozens of innovative, genre-fusing records and remixes on many of the worlds leading Techno/DnB & Dub labels. Deans innovative approach to music has led him to branch out into the worlds of Drum&Bass and Dubstep and in 2004 he created Subdivison Media to house a family of labels (Subsistenz, Subtrakt, Subviolenz & UF) and artists involved in all the scenes he loves in the pursuit of musical innovation.
This inventive approach has led Dean to work with many leading producers such as Current Value, Broken Note, Raiden, King Cannibal , The Panacea, Glenn Wilson, Patrik Skoog (DJAgaric), Senser, The Sect & Cooh to mention but a few, but is perhaps most apparent in Deans work with DnB producer Current Value as ‘Machine Code’ – the truest crossover of Techno & DnB and one of the most prominent acts on the ‘Technoid DnB / Dubstep & 1/4 step ’ scene.

From Ragga, Hiphop, Nu-Funk, Techno/ House, Drum and bass, Breakbeat to Dub poetry Coppa is one of the new school of cross genre music artists. Coppa has so far contributed to over 40 releases worldwide across various formats and genres of music.
Not one to limit his sound, Marvin Hay aka Coppa/MC Coppa has peformed acorss over 27 Countries World Wide, all across Europe and as far as China, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Siberia as a live performer and MC/Vocalist.
Hosting sets and performing across an impressive range of musical genres with the likes of Peter Kruder, Richard Dormeister, Felix da House Cat, Tiefschwarz, Stereotyp, J da Flex, Roni Size, Marcus Intalex, Aphrodite, Adam F, The Q-Orchestra, 7Samuari & many more.
Highlights of his live performance carear include, perfoming with Stereotyp @ Giles Petersons Worldwide Fesitival in Singpore, Opening for Missy Elliot in Kuala lumper, Maylasia @ Genting Theme Park in front of 10,000 people, headling the underground electronica arena at Pepsi Sizget w/Stereotyp and also hosting the Nokia Trends event at the Prestigious Vienna Concert House, also performing at the opening the flagship G-Star store in Vienna and being invitied as a special international guest at Budapest Slam Poetry exhibition at the Budapest KultureHouse venue.
His recorded works have regularly recieved national airplay in over 6 countries across europe & with releases on respected labels such as Kruder & Dorfmeister’s G-Stone, Francios K’s Wave Music, Bob Sinclair’s Yellow Productions, Freestyle Records (w/Q-Orchestra), Parov Steller’s Etage Noir, Berlin techno legend Len Faki’s Figure Label and up-coming material on the legendary Cut La Roc’s Rocstar Recordings & Peter Presta’s Apple Jaxx Recordings in New York, plus featuring on a host of compilation releases on Sony BMG Germany, Warner Dance/Sony Music, Universal Austria, Universal TV & T-Mobile Electronic beats Compilation on Waner, Coppa’s recordings have always found a good home to be released.
